Description

This position is responsible for driving business results and to augment revenue for the South African business through strategic business development transactions and alliance management. The individual will also have responsibility for oversight and commercialisation of a portfolio of products that fall under the Diversified Brands portfolio.

Core Responsibilities:

- Commercial assessment: produce objective analysis of market drivers, competitive environment and treatment trends to inform decisions on partnering, in-licensing, out-licensing, and divestitures; opportunities to extend core (organic growth); required core capabilities and resources;
- Strategy and financial analysis: contribute to the strategic analysis, strategy formulation, and long-range financial modelling for business development opportunities;
- Assume responsibility for oversight and commercialisation of the Diversified Brands portfolio of products, including managing external partnerships and alliances that support the DB portfolio;
- Interpersonal cross-functional capabilities: develop good working relationships with business partners / stakeholders in country, regionally and at corporate headquarters;
- Monitor and analyse all the sales data for accuracy, trends and comparative performance and reports to management.
